GAME DEVELOPER PROGRAM
The hi5 Game Developer Program makes it fast and easy to get content distributed through the hi5 Games channel. The purpose of hi5’s Game Developer Program is to form win-win partnerships with talented social game developers, with aligned incentives to drive audience and monetization to the best new games.
Any game developer may submit games or other applications for distribution on hi5.com. All the necessary information to do so is available on the hi5 Developer Portal.
The hi5 Developer Portal includes:
- Management Page – A consolidated page for managing all your hi5 applications
- API Documentation – All integration documentation for both Open Social and Facebook-compatible interfaces, including sample code
- Submission Form – Ability to directly submit games and other applications for approval on hi5
- Promotion Vehicles – Information on all the powerful and creative ways of promoting your game on hi5, including our unique virality features and game-specific APIs to persist scores and other achievements to user profiles
- Improved Monetization – Favorable revenue shares on premium advertising and direct user payments via integration to the hi5 Coins virtual currency
- Legal Documentation – Current terms and agreements for distributing content
- Developer News – The latest news and announcements about hi5's Game Developer Program
For games we believe will perform particularly well on the hi5 platform, we offer the hi5 Preferred Partner program. hi5 Preferred Partners benefit from additional marketing and promotion of their game titles, including free banner ads, preferred placement on the hi5 Games page, inclusion on the hi5 Games tool bar, and more for new games launched exclusively on hi5.com
